Calex Express ...Home Sweet Home.

I just wanted to start a journal of my adventures at Calex. I went in today filled out an app and just got the call too show up for orientation at 0900 Wednesday.
I told them I wanna run the coast. So we will see what they say Wednesday.
I'm looking forward to starting this job at Calex. Until then Tschüss.

 

Those west coast runs seem pretty nice. The pay isnt the best but as long as they don't micromanage me and my check is alright. I'll be fine.
I met a driver today with 30 years in at Calex. Great guy.

 

It was between Calex, Schuster, and Freymiller. Calex is only 15 minutes from home. It just makes the whole process easier for me. No buses. No hotels. Just orientation and start my new career OTR.

 

I'm assuming two trips to the west coast and back. I just filled out my app today, they ran my MVR, called me later today and said show up for orientation Wednesday where I'm assuming pay, miles, and home time will be discussed.
I think once everything is agreed upon they will probably send me for a whizz quiz.

 

Guilty as charged.

 

The orientation isn't paid. I just assumed we would discuss pay and everything st orientation. Their orientation is just one day for a video and a few hours of paperwork.
