Can a D.O.T put a driver out of service because a driver didnt speak 100% english????

It is in the Dot regulations! You have to speak and read the signs on the road! It's a safety issue! He needs to learn how to read and write english!

Dude i know all that and the driver is with it... I was on the phone the whole time with my driver and he answer everything correct

Yeah i understand that and i agree with u but come onnnnnn if he got the avility to get he's CdL why got outta service just bcuz he have an accent u know!!

This is common practice with Alabama DOT & state troopers.
Where was your driver when this happened? -
They are asked questions about road signs (in English) and they are required to answer in English what they mean. If the driver isnt responding correctly then why shouldnt he be put out of service? Just because someone "can drive truck" doesnt mean they should be.

Dot ask for driver license was hend it to him,, ask for medical card samething , load book, where he was coming from and where he headin to anwser all that.... I mean what alse the DOT needs to know??????
