They're ok I spose, but they just seem to primitive and outdated compared to a Cascadia.

Wow, you got lucky. Most of the time if have to swap with a lighter truck. That all ended though when I figured out how to use my pin puller and that bar they put in the place of the air can to my advantage. It took two people to slide the 5th wheel, but by golly it was movable.

Primitive works for me, as that means there's less crap to break and replace. :biggrin_25522:

That truck did take a beating since I had it. I pulled out of a shipper in Cleveland once and ran over a MONSTER POTHOLE!!! Which tore out the undercarriage. Had to replace the oil pan, air dryer, and a spring. Luckily it was deemed a non-preventable since it was at night and there were no street lights, so that was a MONSTER INSURANCE CLAIM!! :biggrin_25522:

They seem about the same as far as that goes, besides, that DD15 is a much better motor than that 60 series, especially with the fact that England likes to lug the hell out of them motors with their nonsense low rpm crap. The dd15 handles it way better.

I will say the century had a tighter turning radius but I think part of the reason this Cascadia don't turn quite as tight of a circle is because it has the steering box on it rather than the rack and pinion steering.

All in all, I'm way happier with this Cascadia than the century. The headlights are way better, I don't have to use my "fog lights" all the time, I like that the sleeper HVAC system is not under the bunk anymore and I like that the batteries aren't under the catwalk anymore. It's just a better truck.

And if more CRE "cheerleaders" came out and honestly said they worked in the office - and not really drivers ... they might have more credibility ...

    LOL.......

Yer not gonna find it. I mean, really, do you people honestly believe office personnel come to this forum posing as drivers fishing for new recruits? Why? Besides, it seems to me that more people listen to the negative that comes from the other side of the fence, than they listen to the good.

Makes me wonder how many of these "haters" and "don't go to England" people are actually office personnel from other companies trying to lure people away, especially when they blatantly say to go to "this" company instead, especially when there's just as many complaints about that company.

Get over it, pal. There are people that don't share the same opinions and views as you do, or anyone like you. Just because some of us have positive things to say does not mean that it isn't genuine. I'm not "cheerleading" for CRE and I haven't seen anyone else that I suspect is doing it either.

I have seen negative responses on here make me wonder how true they are. Some of them even look automated. They only post once then disappear.

But how about this for a novel idea.... If you're gonna come here and bash a company, how bout putting as much detail into it as possible and tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth? Don't just make it sound like you were a little angel who did everything right and the said company was the big bad wolf.

Seriously....Just LOOK at all the threads/posts on this forum. Anyone who has been in the trucking business longer than 10 minutes knows to stay away from these thieves. There are no "competitors" on here trying to steal anyone away from CRE. Why would they want to ? CRE's business model is totally based on people without a current knowledge of the trucking business/fleece purchase mode. Do you know how MANY posters/threads, people on this site have viewed over a LONG period of time that got utterly ripped off by this company ? LOTS...It all fits the same mode and here it goes..."I'm smarter than all of you, you are all stupid/lazy/old (check one of the above) and I will prove you all wrong-this is a great company"..Then they disappear and never come back. Or if they DO infrequently show up and people on this forum ask for proof, then they disappear never to be heard from again. It's just more of the "same old/same old"..

Ooooh, that really shows me a lot. Wanna know what that really shows me?..... The kinda people England hires drive their trucks. Gee, I can't count how many threads/posts I've seen askin', "Oh, whatever shall I do? I've got several convictions felonies on my record but the only company that'll hire me is England... Some of the degenerates like that actually prove to have better'ed themselves but some don't. Maybe England is partly at fault for not being a little more picky when it comes to the people they hand the keys too.

The intent of my post just flew right over your head, didn't it?

I've read countless numbers of threads concerning this subject.
