Can anyone tell me what this part is for ?

    It appears to be a small metal wheel attached to the bottom right of the radiator. Truck is a 2012 Freightliner Cascadia daycab with DD15.

    From just looking at a photo and also from a non F/L tech.

    Sure looks like a vibration dampener to me.

    Is the center rubber? Is there one on the opposite side as well?

    It's a whizz-bang doohickey and will cost $1,200 dollars to replace,,oh, and you'll need 4 of them. I agree, some sort of vibration damper for the radiator?

    A lot of pickup trucks come with circular metal vibration dampers on the frames, axles, etc.
