My truck is a old US Express Columbia & I am wanting to know what all is involved in installing a trailer brake handle in the dash. I see them on fleabay all the time. Does anyone know how much air line plumbing this would take? Is it all under the dash or do you have to run a bunch of new lines.

    yes, U can.

use air supply from park brake air tank (the better place to cut in T-fitting is in air switch manyfold area).

Controll line runs under hood. Cut in "select hi" air valve in TCV control line in foot brake valve area.

Run handvalve exaust to outdoors becouse you do not want to hear SHHHH sound every time u release trailer brake

    robbiehorn Thanks this.

Yes a diagram would be helpful. By what you told me Pablo-UA I looked at it yesterday and I am pretty sure that I can do it myself. Thanks a lot for your help.

    post me e-mail.

BTW, about valves. On all valves sold worldwide I cas see European port marking.

    1- supply
    2- output
    3 - exaust.

    Tank marking

Wet tank ore supply tank - black lines
I -Rear brakes - Green lines
II. - Front brakes - Orange lines
III - Park and trailer supply tank - lines are red
    IV- accessory tank
    Yellow - park brake deactivation
    Blue - trailer control line

Got it Pablo-UA it was hiding from me in the spam box. Thanks for your time sending me the diagrams. As soon as I get the engine put back together this will be my next project. I had one in my other truck and I used it quite often.

use only DOT ore ECE certified fittings. There are many chenese fitting on market that may pop up under pressure.

I use made of metal push it fittings, but threaded are better.

Fittings are the critical points of air brake system.

Chenese fittings may be bad may be good, there are many makers there so I cant be ure what are of good quality, what not, that's why I prefere European ore US makers
