When you were a kid, you were invincible!

Any idea where that strep throat came from? It's passed from person to person contact;usually when one of my kids got it from a classmate in school, all 3 of them got it in different degrees.

Antibiotics are non-psychoactive and non-narcotic. Their use should not affect driving at all. My biggest concern would be the effects of the infection on the body. We tend to be weakened by them and fatigue much faster. This COULD impair driving significantly.

Take the full course of the anti-biotic as prescribed even if you feel better. Infections can be sneaky and bounce back in other ways.

Take good care of yourself. Eat well, lots of fluids and rest. Let your body beat it.

Good luck and hope you feel better soon.

It would have been nice if she warned you about it, now you both have to suffer.Kids with Strep aren't allowed back in school till a doctor clears them.Ah well live and learn lol.

Who is Shaneekwa? Never mentioned in your OP

You came to an internet forum to ask people at large, who are mostly made up personas of lonely truck drivers medical advice, that the medication that comes with no warnings other than to trust your own instincts and knowledge of body whether you are fit to drive.

Now just about anybody with half a brain who has ever been sick in their life knows that antibiotics are not narcotics, nor do they affect your ability to operate a motor vehicle or heavy machinery.

I tried to give you legitimate sound advice. Take it, don't take I could care less. Maybe next time you are sick you should go to the truck stop directly and bypass Dr Shaneekwa.

I wrote in my OP that the doctor said i was fine to drive and that it wasnt a problem with DOT regs, and Shaneequa was an attept to show you that Dr Dipsheet couldnt find her way out of a paper bag. so i wasnt going to trust her on the regs.

I wasnt on here asking if i would be ok to drive, i can figure that one for myself. I was asking if this med is one of the ones we cant use while driving since i always hear about this "list" that i've never been able to find...
