Drivers if you are making a local delivery in Louisville Ky in the next 2 months plan your route well. 65 is closed through town and so are many other routes that go under 65. The over passes are all clearly marked so hopefully any of you who can read this post wouldn’t have a problem, but clearly some people are having problems. It has only been closed since Monday morning but already 8 rigs have lost trailer roofs.

Ha, I used to work for that company, Suburban a while back. I didn't ever drive a tow truck, though.

It’s not the English comprehension, it’s the GPS.
I honestly believe that some drivers are so stupid, they could can opener the trailer on Monday and do the exact same thing to the same bridge on Tuesday.
“But…but, Mister PoliceOfficerMan, my GPS sent me this way again!” -
This post. It's always the GPS. People of all languages have hit bridges for years.. it's even worse with poor trip planning skills. My company fired a guy for hitting a bridge in Louisville. Saw him go right for it on the camera. Might be this bridge in the pics.

Trip planning?

My Rand McNally Trucker's Atlas lists 3 low clearance locations in Louisville, KY: the US 60 Alt (3rd St) -- both at...& just below Eastern Pkwy; & apparently trucks should also avoid US 150 (East Broadway St) in/near the downtown area.
The above-mentioned US 60 Alt location is the so-called "can opener"....
....at 11'8" of clearance.
Any decent trucker GPS unit should have flagged this, & routed a rig so equipped around this obstacle -- UNLESS THE USER FAILED TO INCLUDE PROPER RIG DIMENSIONS WHEN FIRST SETTING UP THE GPS VEHICLE PROFILE.
