1. Lorazepam: Anxiety and muscle relaxer
2. Citalopram: SSRI depression medication
3. Amitriptyline: For neck pain
4. Quetiapine(Seroquel): For sleep
Pain causes anxiety and then anxiety causes stiff muscles and more pain. It is a vicious cycle. So anxiety medication is more for pain than for anxiety.
Can these 4 drugs disqualify you from CDL?

@Moose1958 Thank you for your contribution. God bless!

Believe it or not, pain also increases blood pressure.

NO to all 4 of them. Here's the rub. Unless you are using any of the prohibited and tested for substances unless you tell on yourself there is no way for anybody to know. None of those 4 substances are part of the DOT urine test.
Your question was a specific question of whether they are disqualifying, that answer is NO. Should you take them is another chapter of the book.Big Road Skateboard, buddyd157, Chinatown and 1 other person Thank this. -

Most companies want a copy of the long form physical which shows everything about the physical. They keep that on file.

I’m not hating, but my opinion is the drugs are irrelevant in this case. Get the pain and the anxiety figured out before you drive a truck, because if pain and anxiety are that big of an issue for you, then you will be miserable as a truck driver.

It’s a nasty drug and I’d think long and hard before ingesting any of it.
Honesty is best on this issue because your to be employer can submit to to a 10 panel test if they want.
Also should you ever get in a serious accident and it comes out than you could be in a world of legal hurt.
Hope you talked with a Pharmacist before taking all that crap together.
Good luck.Rahat Thanks this.
