I’m wanting to buy a new reefer with super singles, but when you try to find one from the factory with them on there for sale it’s not out there, and every dealer says if they just order on trailer with one spec, (I want the heavy duty plastic, or bultex, or Versitex I think it’s called at the bottom rub rails and two rows of extracting) they say it would cost a fortune. Can I change the tires and wheels on some that I have found with duals to singles and not hurt the spindles with the off set wheels or can you get a spacer or something to help it or what? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Can you convert a new trailer with duals to super singles?

You can just put wide singles on. Nothing special required. They do make the rims with zero and 2" offset. I'm at the limit for weight about 50% of the time with 2" offset and I've never had any inside wear issues. If you're worried though, just get the zeros. -
