I know child support can suspend your licenses but what about Equitable Distribution Law? If all of your equipment is fully paid off then the ex owns half of your fully paid equipment right? What if she says I want you to sell it, then what? Start over at Swift or Start over at Western :D?

File for unemployment if they cancel your cdl, they’ll reinstate it, and deactivate your car/motorcycle license.
I know a guy that happened too.

They can make you sell your truck and split the proceeds.

Ex wanted value of truck. I said sounds reasonable. I told her I hope she understood if i wanted her retirement. We came to an agreement.
The true winners were the lawyers, as always.
Another piece of the learning curve, growing up.

The judicial system benefits from individuals that can't control their emotions. Attorney fees start at 5k-15k. Online divorce is $137.00.

'Cheaper to keep her' in the long run. 99% of the time 'She will win in a divorce case'. Try to reason with her or it will cost.

Buy her out. My employer did that years ago. His wife settled for 1/2 the value of equipment and done deal, thats it, thats all. She could not collect a dime in support but she thought she had the world by the tail with $50K It was a cheap buyout for him, never looked back.
