Can you replace ATO2612D with a AT2612D I Shift Transmission?

    Shop ordered the wrong part number and I am wondering if this will be an issue? Truck has 2.64 gears I shift 12 Speed. I am guessing it will fit fine but 12 speed will be a little higher on RPM?

    Anyone know how this will work out?

    It's two years late but here's an answer...

    Yes you can but...
    You will need to have the ECM parameters modified, so the ECM recognize the direct drive I-Shift.
    Because your Differential gear ratio is ar 2.64, you should have no issue with increased rpm. I installed a Direct Drive where an OverDrive was needed that's how I know!
    Because this truck has a 3.42 gear ratio, I'm doing 55 at 1550 rpm.
    Will re-installed an ATO in a few weeks.
