Can you slow down an idling automatic or make the brakes more sensitive?

I'm driving this 2013 Peterbilt with a 6 speed Allison automatic. It idles at 750 rpm and will go 5-6 mph without pressing the throttle. Holding it back in stop and go traffic is starting to give me knee pain. Is there a fix for this or is it just how these automatics are? Can I drop the idle down? Engine is paccar PX8 (8.3).

Not sure about Paccar engines, but Cummins do have Idle adjustment by simply pushing the cruise buttons to raise or low idle speed. Worth a try on yours.

PX8 is an ISC So yes you can change base engine idle with Insite.
