Because he wears blinders. He's said it himself before when he mentions other trucking jobs that have a lot harder time than OTR drivers do - he doesn't give a #### because he doesn't do that. He's "happy" so anyone else that isn't is a moron. He's "winning" for his rule set, so he thinks any other point of view is worth nothing. He's "winning" so he looks down on anyone else that isn't set up exactly like him.
His sig has as much value as an apology from a phone company that has over charged you again, for the 6th month in a row.

While you might just walk away from a situation where someone ####s on your head every day, another person is going to find out why they are being #### on and try to make it stop.
While you might be ok with deciding to buy your own truck because company trucks are ####, someone else is going to find out why the company trucks are ####, and try to get them to be maintained like they are supposed to be.
While you might think it's a great idea to start your own company, many other people, in fact the vast majority, do not have the personality to do that, otherwise, there would be no employees, only bosses.
While you or others might be fine to walk away from a broken industry, others might not be interested in walking away from what they feel is broken, but rather, try to fix it from the inside.
In the end, reality holds sway, rose coloured glasses or not. IF the trucking industry looked after the drivers, companies wouldn't be having 100%+ turnover of their drivers. Companies that understand that drivers are people will keep their people. There are tons of ####ty driver jobs, because they are ####ty driver jobs. In the end, trucks will be going full automatic, computer controlled, and therein is the fix for non-stop trucking/money making and finally getting rid of those whiney ##### drivers. Understanding your post was 5 years earlier and there was little/no mention of autonomous trucks, the rest of the negative aspects of trucking haven't changed at all in that passage of time. -

What's the deal with Kingsway? Are they a TFI company? How do I apply directly to Kingsway and would I want to?
