Question,
I have potential O/O with Ontario CDL , my company is from USA .
Can we Hire him to do work Inside USA , or it must be strictly IN and OUT of Canada loads?

Cannot haul between two points within the United Sates, unless the shipper and consignee are the same company. Otherwise he can only haul loads that go back to Canada

Same as mentioned above. He would need a US work visa to perform deliveries within the US, other than the initial cross-border load. He would essentially be illegally working, not paying US taxes, and considered to be "stealing" US jobs. He'd be looking at his truck being impounded, huge fines, and possible jail-time.

I've heard 1st offence = 5 years barred from country + large fine.
2nd offence barred for life and a much bigger fine.
Heard it a long time ago. I don't have any links. I am sure it is along those lines, much more than a slap on the wrist.
