Onroutes are a joke. Whoever designed those parking lots has never driven a truck. The Flying J’s are just as bad, i cant park there without leaving 20’ of my truck sticking out of the spot

The only decent tuck stop between the peg and south On is the pass lake J. Or ssm J.I once emailed Husky but it was a waste of bandspace. I fo see where BD fuels is taking over some of the truck stopd. They redid the old Esso at North Bay.

The Husky in Chilliwack isn't too bad. Has a restaurant, and the typical gas station stuff. There's a fair amount of parking. But it fills up pretty quick. And on weekends it's chock full of guys stuck and waiting to drop their loads further west in Vancouver or Surrey Monday morning.

This isn't true. I go from our company yard in Mississauga to Winnipeg in 2 shifts in a 62 mph truck.

Mississauga is north of Toronto, lol.

I'm talking Windsor, London, etc. I used to load in Harrow all the time, and to do it legally for time (not speed), you had to make it out to at least London and run the 17 back.

    Mississauga is west of Toronto.
Mississauga is still in Southern Ontario. But yeah not gonna make it from Windsor/London.

I've considered it as well. Its just too much money for the average person to shell out. I'd open my own shop on the premises too.

    Zeviander and Cabinover101 Thank this.

The Restaurant in the Super 8 in Fort McMurray was decent for the area, but haven't been back up there since the fires. Some of the 5th Wheels were decent too before they went out. I liked the Big Stop out on Newfie Rock too and also the Restaurant in Grande Prairie...
