Car fails to yield causing 2 truck driver fatalities

First thought - “They don’t let idiots haul O2”

Read story.

They do let idiots drive other trucks that can’t manage speed and space, and collide with merging fools in 4 wheelers. These same idiots don’t realize that if they do collide with a 4 wheeler , loss of steering components and thus control - may send them everywhere but straight.

Poor O2 driver probably never saw it coming. One of the least expected, or avoidable collisions.

4 wheeler driver will get charged with ‘failure to yield’ .

Hope he attends both funerals.

Fox 5 DC I might be wrong, but now it is up to the Commonwealth Attorney to up the Reckless driving charge to "Manslaughter. The state police cannot place the charge of Manslaughter, Reckless driving is their limit. Once they turn the evidence over to the Commonwealth Attorney, it is up to him what charge to place on the driver.

 

I would expect 2 counts of Vehicular Manslaughter or Homicide since it involved 2 drivers that were killed. All because the 4 wheeler failed to yield. That driver was either oblivious to the fact that they were merging onto an interstate highway with traffic that had legal right of way, and/or they tried to “beat the semi”. Either way,they lost, and 2 people died because of it!

Update: All of the drivers have been identified. It turns out the 4-wheeler tried to cut across 2 lanes of traffic at once-going from the on-ramp directly into the hammer lane!!!

 

I think they should add two counts of vehicular manslaughter.

 

They’re working on it,they already said more charges were coming.
