Yep. Fifth one in 2 years in Schertz. 3 in Cibolo about 3 miles away. I cross them tracks multiple times a day sometimes. Never take a truck across the parkway crossing. It is also steep coming up the other side. You cannot see the traffic light in front of you until you touch the tracks. Then its a steep slide down. With less then 50 feet of space between tracks and FM 78. So really no way to keep enough momentum to pull across tracks if you start to hangup.
Not to mention that is the old Southern Pacific line. The southern most coast to coast main line in the US. Trains run about 15 mins apart thru there. Lots and lots of trains a day. The consist that hit that truck stretched out over a half mile. It had two mid DPU’s and lots of chemical tanks. It blocked 4 other crossings including FM 3009 which is about a half mile down from the parkway crossing.
