This truck hates me. My Cat ID stopped working. I pulled the dash apart to check for any bad connections, and check for power with a meter. Everything is working fine, so I assume it’s in the display itself. It was strange because I had it unplugged, and when I plugged it back it in turned on just like normal for a few seconds then back off for good. Any idea where to find a new used one? I really liked having it for the very short amount of time it was functioning. Checked eBay, and a generic google search to no success.

Wasn’t sure if those are legitimate sites.
And holy crap they are expensive. -
Definitely want to be certain its not a connection issue somewhere in that harness.

I assume it should at least turn on when power is applied to it. I bench tested it with just 12V off a batter, and nothing happened.

It worked for 10 minutes today

They were a thousand dollars here in Canada back in 2007 when I bought one.

And it kicked on and worked for an hour while my alternator was bad and batteries were dying. Replaced alternator, not working again.... has to be a problem in the unit.
