New driver here, been on my own a little over a month. I'm driving in Texas this week and have seen Alot of cattle haulers. Mostly Pete's. I'm asking about the trucks I suppose. Why are there no freight liners hauling cattle? Silly question?

Because having dual big open coil antennas angled forward (bull horned) doesn’t look as cool on a freightliner and they have those stupid bird perch mounts. Plus, I think it’s an unspoken rule not to run with the echo wide open on the cb in a freightliner.
Buster Churry and JC1971 Thank this. -
I've seen all sorts of trucks hauling cattle including latemodel Freightliners, and they're flying by me at 80mph just like the rest of them .
However , I agree that it is mosly Peterbilts Kenworth W9 and Western stars .
Just think about the typical person(Driver/ranch hand/Cowboy) that hauls cattle and you basically have your answer .
I'm not going to get political about this subject ,so that's all I'm saying !bottomdumpin, RedBeardedT and okiedokie Thank this. -
Some trucks are better for hauling BS.
stwik, RedBeardedT, Buster Churry and 2 others Thank this. -
If it was a Freightliner, it would become a $###shaker.
