CB in Freightliner constant power

    I'm putting a CB in my 2012 Cascadia. I have the original plug in my Galaxy, and I plugged into the factory harness in the overhead console. My issue is that the power stays on even when the key is switched off. What am I missing? Shouldn't it cut the power when I turn the key off.

    Only sometimes, on some trucks. My T660 had the CB harness controlled by the key and I wired it direct so I can listen to it without idling. I did the same thing with the stereo.

    Thanks for the reply, I'll just have to remember to turn the power off, on the CB when I shut the truck down for the night.
