Has anybody in the group ever gotten their CDL disqualified for two serious traffic violations, an if so was it hard to get back to work after the disqualification was over?

Of course not. I had a friend who got his license suspend twice, many accidents and still work a 1099 in chicago. He wanted me to work with him and I just laugh at his face.

What disqualification is this? There's usually a 5-10 years waiting period until u can get hired with a carrier...depending what it is

I got a speeding ticket in 2014 in my personal vehicle, an then a failure to maintain lane ticket in 2015 which i had to pay in March, so after i paid it the state of Georgia disqualified me 2 months until 05/15/2016

How fast were u going? Anything 15 and over is consider reckless driving and guarantee most carriers won't hired u.

Failure to maintain a lane don't sound bad....but there's usually an accident involved in that ticket or something ur not telling us.

But if it'd truly that 1 speeding ticket...u cam try ur luck

Also when u say disqualified, u mean license suspended? Usually it takes 3 tickets to get a suspension, so....sounds like more to the story? Forgot to pay?

2 serious in a 3 year span is 60 day disqualification.
3 or more in 3 year span is 120 day disqualification .
You lose your Cdl but not your regular license.
You will have to take ALL tests over including driving test, after your disqualification period is up.

Failure to maintain lane is one of the cardinal sins - many don't realize it. It's up there with following too close .
