Hey Rebel ! Glad you made it with MTC. I also schooled there and yes the trainers are great. The #1 problem that place has is there ##$%^ office staff. BTW a buddy of mine is going to be back in IN to meet with his trainer today. he had to take some time off because his trainer had some family medical emergency. Werner was good about allowing him to come home for a couple days and wait for his trainer to return. The good thing is he gets along well with his trainer and so he didnt want to change to a different one. Again Good Luck maybe you will meet up with my buddy he is a member here also. His nick is builder1957.

hey rebel im the friend of nailers that went back to indiana , im home now again , my advice is to find someone else to work for all false promises and your training will never be done, your being used by trainers so they can make good money , i quit ,werner sucks youll see that pretty quick
they sleep eat and you work dont sleep and dont eat , this is all true believe me by my experience there.

    builder1957,

Wow! What a ringing endorsment! Unfortunately, that is the way most of these "large" companies treat their drivers. I don't understand why people still flock to them like moths to a light. Very frustrating. Good luck on your next employer, I hope it's better.

Congrats Rebel! Good luck with training!

The best advise I have ever been given:

    1. Take it slow and don't let ANYONE push you into going faster than you feel safe going. There are lots of blow hards on the road out there who will never be happy at the speed your going. So drive safe.

    2. If you ever get fired for being late to a delivery in bad weather, you will have the keys to a new truck with a new company in 3 days... If you are late because you wrecked your truck getting there because you were driving too fast...... you may not find another job.
