If you go with Yellow, there's a chance you'll be trained at a Florida terminal vs. an out of state terminal. Either is a good deal for you.Last edited: Oct 29, 2022

Avoid CR England at all costs. They may very well be the worst trucking company in the industry. Well over half of all of the drivers in the company have less than 6 months in the industry. There is a reason why they replace thousands of drivers every year. They are the only company in the industry putting 3 men in one truck for weeks and weeks of training. Your "trainer" will very likely have just a few weeks more experience in the truck than you will.
Half of the trucking companies that hire newbies like you offer Tuition Reimbursement in addition to normal pay. Focus on finding the company you want to work at for the next year or two, not the easiest, cheapest, fastest way to get a CDL. If you were getting married would you focus on getting the cheapest, easiest, most conveneint ceremony or which person to marry? CDL school is JUST about passing the state exam. Your first company will show you the other 90% of the how and why you need to know to make a living in trucking. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE accept an offer to work on any trucking company's dollar type store account, no matter what the acutal name of that dollar type store is called. There is a huge chance you will ruin your record and be unemployable in trucking if you work on a dedicated dollar type store. They have no space for trucks, you will back into items and vehicles and then be fired.
