    Heard something interesting today, from a reputable source. Looks like out COO might be leaving. Makes me wonder if they're going to replace him, and if so, with who.

    I suspect it did too. I have the feeling they were always gunning to take over Central, they just waited until the time was right.

    Hey guys. I met up with a swiftral driver today in my yard in Yakima. He was on his first load after upgrading and was in a swift truck pulling a central trailer. The juicy part that I found interesting is who his trainer was. Gary Pleasant, the former head of training. This may be old news to you all but I guess he went back out as a trainer because after the merger they said they were going to cut his pay 15k. I think he made the right choice.

    Just thought I would pop in and say hi. I've been driving with Ryder for a month now and am soooooo glad to be back on the road, even if it's just local box truck stuff. I love being out of the office.

    I started at FFE in early 1993 I was a trainer at the age of 22....lol
