First, Thank you for your service!
Next, I cannot speak of Prime, but being on the 28 day training event...you should do just fine.
In class they will give you the gouge. The wheel has been invented..don't reinvent. Don't worry how mountains are made, just regurgitate for the CDL permit.
Listen to the Instructors. They will "steer" you well..pun intended.
If you don't hear too well or don't understand have them repeat as necessary. Finally,
    there is no stupid question..except.
    Good luck

    JimTheHut Thanks this.

At heartland I have to go to inspection bays any time I get to any terminal, not only main one.
Not really an issue, accept if I have to get fuel at one or drop and hook at one while the bays are open.
The wait can be several hours long to get in the bay, and even if you went to one in the morning and have to hit the terminal again before the bays close you will have to go in again.
My fuel stop on Friday at Carlisle took about 4 hours. I was supposed to go to the Columbus terminal for fuel also, but delivered first and got new routing.
So all company's have there little issues.
I do have to say that heartlands trailers are in great condition, and the trucks are well kept as well. Though mine will get traded by Apr at the latest, since it is a 2007 9400. and the whole company will be Prostar by April.
Would have gone to all prostar by new years, but the dealers could not take that many trades that fast. So they are holding them up lol.

Hopefully the economy will get better this spring, or at least maybe the freight will pick up to the point that we are not over saturated with trucks on the road.
Then miles can come back and rates can start to get better.
Both of those things will help us in the long run as drivers.
We need to be needed, and as long as there are more trucks than loads our pay cannot get better.

Haha, if you turn around I think there's a Central truck behind the camera. That does look ugly, especially looking back down the side street.

Looks like I didn't miss that much over the past few days, except for the reunion in Henderson.

It was nice meeting 1bad last Thursday in Conley.

Been running my assigned W9 (even included a few chicken lights) to Phoenix and then hopefully Fontana and home. Till then gonna sit here for the evening and relax since I've been running my 11 out and turning around 10 later to make it this far.

Back to some much needed relaxing near Gallup...
