I can prove it; over the past couple of years, everybody (everybody!) has quit (for some great entertainment, read past posts from Conway Truckload and CFI newbies over the last couple of years) except for the one hanger on for Gawdknowswhy.
Pay sucks... always, and conditions are brutal. Always.
This job is very easily replaced with a much better one.
Quit today before you fall behind even further on your bills and get on Craigslist.

580 miles today no big deal but I only had 10 hours and 30 minutes to work with...

That included a legal pre-trip, legal fuel stop, and about 62 miles of winding steep Mountain Pass that I'm not real familiar with in the dark.

I had a good day.

MIT... can you smell something fishy washed up on the Michigan shores?

I can smell the stench on the Columbia River... dang... now my truck is going to smell like like this all the way to Portland.

Sometimes I wonder if it smells this bad in a trolls man cave...uh AKA mom's basement...no, I have never wondered that.

 

SurferJoe, If you are not happy or satisfied with CFI just move on. It just wasn't a good fit for you. There are plenty of companies for you to try if you are not happy. Maybe Swift, JB Hunt etc. Your opinion is yours alone so you have stated it so stop bashing this company. It works well for many others and I'm sure you won't be satisfied where ever you go.

 

Thanks Pop...he was unhappy and left ( fired?) about five years ago. He still hasn't gotten over it...sits in his mother's basement, studying English so he can create snappier posts. He is doing quite well at that... just not very well at anything else...

I enjoy his feeble attempts to get under our skin... he's just an amateur... there are true professionals trying to get under my skin all the time!
