450$ for a 515 mile run. Countered the rep at 1250 (yes high I know) my thoughts were he'd counter back at 1k. He took my offer the wrong way. Said he would let every single chrobinson rep 'know my rates from NJ to ohio'. Apparently it's ok for brokers to lowball the daylights out of people but when someone sends a high offer they get offended. Can he even do that

$0.87/mile? Ouch. And its probably 46-48k pounds too.
-
Who cares ?? Let the maggot do what he wants. You can haul cheap freight or not.
GITRDUN45 Thanks this. -
It was 41k. Needless to say I didn't take the load. Something told me not to
-
Shouldn't be a problem. They know my rates. And they still call.
This morning I delivered a $1300 no touch 8000lb dry van load that went 300 miles including deadhead. It wasn't CHR this time, but it was one of the bigger players. Oh, and I got 3 hours detention at delivery. -
Amennn!! Apparently doesn't know how to do basic math. Cost more than that PM to run any truck. Classic example why brokers try to do this to most of us. What a shame and I thought we (Truckers) stuck together. Instead makes some of us work harder than needed for their stupidity. VERY SAD!!!

I didn't take the load

Maybe you should let everyone know who this CH Robinson agent is so everyone knows what a cheap ### and prick he is?

Why did the title of my thread change?
