speed limit "should be" doesn't mean anything, for one your an inexperienced driver, for another every speed limit has there reason weather there has been a lot of accidents there, zoning as well as a lot of other determining factors, witch one reason might be for a revenue trap. any way you wanna look at it always keep it at the posted speed limit, you will be safer your burn less fuel and what is it gonna save you to speed 5 mins? 300 dollar ticket and a mark on your license is not worth 5 mins esp if you want to go into professional driving later in life. if you don't get any more tickets till your 21 you should be fine.

Yes, just like Reverand Blair said, it was probably panic. What you did was foolish but I have done these kind of things when I was younger. What I am impressed with is the fact that you came clean with all the details of your multiple bad choices surrounding this event.

Three suggestions I have that will earn you respect and can sometimes save you a ticket because it has me more than once.

    1) Pull over as soon as you know you are caught,
    2) Always be polite and show respect and
    3) Accept responsibility and never make excuses.

    The Chameleon Thanks this.
