Got over $20k from the public to pay for repair so he can go back on the road hauling cheap freight and being broke.

What do you guys think of this?

Bailing out a owner operator that has no money?

For those wanting more back story.

6 months ago 700,000 mile Freightliner, also said he has bad credit score, carrying high credit card balance and is credit risk.

I didn’t see anything in this video that said he was broke from hauling cheap freight.Do you know this guy personally?
Do you have access to his books?
You automatically go to the cheap freight assumption.

Maybe, just maybe you don’t know the rest of his story.
    I don’t either, so I’m not judging.

Next he will have a gofundme in April because he can’t pay his taxes. Not sure what’s worse, a grown man crying and begging for money on social media or the idiots who tossed money to him.

You can judge his pleas for help and you can judge the people helping but you can’t judge what put him in this position.
My point was the op claims it was because he hauls cheap freight. You can’t know that.

2:38 in video he says "I've been struggling" and can't pay repair bill, can't borrow.

You don't say those things if you're out here making lots of money.

With good income and credit can take out a loan or even just put repair on credit cards.

There's a reason he also "doesn't have a way to borrow"

None of that has anything to do with you saying it’s because he hauls cheap freight.
He may have family with medical issues. He may have recently went through a natural disaster. He may have just been robbed at gunpoint. YOU DONT KNOW!

Don’t know what got him there but the fact he doesn’t have the ability to call his bank and get a loan says a lot in my book.

    Exactly.
Hauling cheap freight isn’t necessarily the reason. It might be, but you can’t say for sure.
Too many people today are so quick to jump to conclusions without knowing the whole story. And that’s sad.

Again 2:38 in the video "I've been struggling like a lot of people have been".

He didn't say I got medical conditions or was in natural disaster, come on man.

    Also can't borrow money.

That says it all right there.

If business shows it makes good income he can walk into a bank and get a loan.
