cheepest eld that connects to Highway

I told Highway to get bent about a year ago. Yes, I lost a couple of brokers over it, but MY safety and security is more important than Highways information gathering. Besides, who made highway the end all be all anyway?
Now to answer your question. If you're an Owner Operator, Garmin ELD is free. I believe the start up cost is $249.00ish but NO monthly fees!

 

From past research the Garmin ELD is not shareable..for lack of a better word.

 

Blue ink tech is free and can generate an api key to give to highway

 

I believe that’s if you get extras like IFTA reporting. You can get the basic ELD with no monthly fees.

 

Just curious if you have used that ELD?
