How often does one have to wear a PPE suit when off loading. Thanks

Depends on the chemical. During orientation you'll be schooled on that.

Also depends on the company and receiver. In the 7 months I've been yanking tanks the only reason I've had to wear a chem suit is because it's the only PPE I have that's fire retardant.

They're great for a starter company as far as pay and benefits go. The experience you have will vary from terminal to terminal as they're all independently run, so there's no central dispatch. Having said that, they are in the middle of being absorbed into Heniff, so changes are being made. If you do decide to work for them, it would be best to do it sooner than later as Heniff requires a year of experience.

No excuse to pass out from dehydration. You know if it's hot out and you are going to have to suit up, to drink extra water and keep some nearby. Most of the loads you are wearing the suit less than a hour at a time and usually you can find some shade to be in when not hooking up and unhooking. I only had to wear one a few times a year and since my goal is to never get any of that crap on me I don't mind.

    tommymonza and Smut Thank this.
