But in real life , I think in 3 years OTR I had 1 place where they told me to unload in a suite.

You dont have to wear it throughout the entire drop. If I have fresh hoses, I hook everything except the customer tank, suit up, then hook to their tank and get product flowing. Once I've verified everything is flowing ok with no leaks, then I grab my camp chair, take my jacket off or unzip the top of my coveralls(depends on which suit I'm wearing) and go sit in the shade, away from any splash point and watch the hose.
I've never had a customer say otherwise. The only exception was if I had to be near a fitting or hose to monitor something or if the customer was there unloading with me. Oilfield sites are very strict as well, but I had a red suit then, not one of those #### green suits -
