Chevy ups the ante in the medium duty truck sector

WRONG.I ran my 2013 for 316,000 miles of strictly hotshotting pulling 18,000 lbs.Not one injector was ever changed.Fuel filter’s every 30,000 miles,Dino oil every 10k,Trans every 45k.Deleted it at 170,000 miles.Guess what items I replaced in those miles? Upper ball joints once ,batteries once.

 

The only part I don’t like about this is the partnership with Navistar.Navistar has been building nothing but Junk for years.Cant believe GM would bring them in.

 

No tie rods yet? Those thing are barely thicker than a pencil.

 

Kinda hard to compare a 1/2 ton Silverado built like a car to a real truck with a live front axle. Apple's to oranges.

 

Have you seen the ones on the 2011’s and up? They are not going to break.

Yup I drove one of the first hundred off the line.Big POS.And the auto trans was a complete turd.

 

Everybody I know with them must get the lemons, there was a guy around here had a brand new one, must've been 14 or 15, and the electric oil pump quit while it was sitting there idling had 30,000 miles on it.
