EEEEK fowl chicken ..LOL I love the story right under that one. It is where a Truck Driver saves a woman from suicide by jumping off of a bridge. He saved her , and nobody else even stopped to try. HERO

Probably an end dump, or one of those open-top trailers with a lift on the back that environmental outfits use.

I would have eased on out of there, seemingly oblivious to the chicken spill.

I sure do know that smell. When I drove for the blacktop outfit,( 90s) in between paving jobs, I'd do "other" tri-axle work. One Monday, the boss tells me to go to the local egg-laying facility, which was huge, didn't say why. I get there, the boss man says, oh, good, we had a problem over the weekend, see "Jack" around back. I go around back, there was a pile of dead chickens the size of a 2 car garage. There was "Jack" with a front end loader. I said, good God, what happened here? He said, they had a "die off" and over a million chickens died. I said what in 'tarnation am I going to do? He said, another employee had a dragline, digging a hole at a farm a mile away. Took 6 tri-axle loads, the smell was, well, let's just say, the next time I backed up to the paver, some harsh words from the operator. Nothing took the smell away, even blacktop. That was in 1996, and I haven't eaten chicken since.

I always called them gut trucks, get awfully rank in East TX in the summer. Make sure recirculate is on A/C & get around them quickly or pull over & take a break if you run up on one.
