I would only recomend lease purchase as last ditch effort.
If you gotta lease on with a company , by a decent late model used truck, (preferably with at least 10 % dwn). And try to find a company that has ZERO!!!!! company trucks.
The list can go on ,on on, on.
But anyway good luck whichever route you choose.

What he said! Stay away from the fleece purchase, and if at all possible don't compete with company trucks. It does not take a rocket scientists to figure out which trucks will be getting the gravy and high dollar freight.
Landstar, Mercer, and Greatwide are just a few that come to mind that are all O/O. -
Thanks for the input. I am still on the fence about o/o but I have not heard much about Christensen and as far as I know they are 100% Owner Operator.
As far as truck and your experience what would be your advice on truck, mileage range to stay with. I know alot depends on how the truck was taken care of, maintenance, etc. -
has anyone heard of this company?
-
I've heard of John Christner Trucking (JCT out of Oklahoma)
-
He didn't ask you if you'd heard of John Christner!
