Which city has the biggest parking shortage in America?

What is the issue with that city?

    It does not matter.

Not enough to matter. Too many trucks playing Musical Parking driven by Federal ELD Music.

Chicago is pretty much a no parking area for me. As I only know of 2 truck stops in the general area.
So I park north or east of Chicago.

I paid to park in a chicago truckstop once, drove through their lot full of holes full of water with everything under the sun floating in them. Drove straight back to the guard shack and got my money back, told the guard I would rather park in a ditch somewhere and call a wrecker in the morning, than to stay in this dump. geesh what a dump it was.

Any big city a bad choice.

Yes, in some you COULD find decent parking (maybe even a decent truckstop), but your trip plan should ALWAYS include getting 75-miles away or more via Interstate from the metro center.

In 22-years I’ve been “forced” to park in cities in places I would never otherwise choose 2-3 times.

If that’s not your experience, I’d recommend a different company or different type of trucking.

Pepper spray, wasp spray or a sawed off 12 shouldn’t have to cross your mind.

Society doesn’t give a good GD about truck drivers. So don’t walk close to the cliffs edge.

    Parking where I don't want.
I will not be forced to park in Detroit.
No matter what. If ELD does not show I can "oh well."

Sure sounds like the ol' 76 at exit 267 on I-55. Place turned into a dump.
