I guess I'm the only one that uses Armorall, but the trick is to spray it right before bed and don't walk on it till morning. It'll be dry and won't be too slick. And I try to never go in the bunk with my dirty boots on. I work in the oilfield so it's hard to keep it clean. But those boots come off on my floor mat and stay there. Use the air hose by the drivers seat to blow dirt and rocks out first.
I get made fun of, but I try to blow the dirt off my boots before getting in the truck after I've been on location.
