First off… I’m not receiving anything from these folks. I graduate from Clement Truck Driving Academy today. It’s a month long program, 160 hours, they have people who can put you in touch with the state of Missouri for a full grant to cover the cost of everything you need. The tuition, housing, permit fees and licensing fees. They have very nice housing for those who need it. The owners, Mr Doyle, his wife, Ms Deanna, Austin and Brett are wonderful people. The instructors, Joe, Royce, RJ, Cecil, Jim, Dewayne and Chalice have all been truckers for many years. They’re very knowledgeable and very professional. They won’t tell you what you want to hear but they’ll tell you what you need to hear. They didn’t give up on me when I was ready to give up on me. They got me through it and I appreciate their patience with me.
They produce quality truck drivers, not steering wheel holders. Check them out. They’re in Neosho, Missouri and Lebanon, Missouri. I went to the Lebanon school and I’m glad I did.

This is where I was schooled. I don’t really have any complaints. They treat you a bit like you’re back in high school; but, that seems to fit the mentality of many of their students. On the first day there were 12 or 14 students. Only 2 of us passed the drug test! Some of them were there not on their own dime so they didn’t have much invested; I was paying myself!
Try hard to follow their lead, it is very likely you will get your CDL. They got a couple of people through that were a little surprising.Cherokee65 Thanks this. -

When I was there they had 1 or 2 guys that couldn’t pass the drug test. I used to work in construction and they did a hair test as well as a urine test. I never did fail one. I told them the only thing they’d find is nicotine and caffeine.
I don’t mess around with anything but cigarettes, coffee and Mt Dew. I don’t even like to take Tylenol unless I have one of those headaches that makes you want to hide in a dark room for a few hours.
