I guess think of shotgun as ####ed and loaded huh? Seems like a good analogy to me. I've made some awkward turns before that would've not been confusing to the shotgun method.

Don't you know it took a sec for me to figure that's what you were typing. I was wondering myself why that got covered up. When you load one shotgun, it's definitely going to put you in that mindframe when running those chains through the middle. You'll think youre staring down the barrel.of a firearm lol

Got rental car yesterday. Thank goodness my boss is an upstanding human being. They wouldn't take my debit card for payment. They would only take an actual credit card. My boss paid for the rental car. He could said well you're on your own. Yes he'll take it out of my last paycheck but that's much better than being stranded. He told me that since he doesn't think he can find a driver as hard working as I was that he's just gonna sell the truck. He offered me a 5 % raise to stay. That woulda put me at a 100k a year. So I hope I'm making the right decision. The new boss says I can make 1500 to 2000 a week. The big bonus for me is being home more. He's already got my trailer loaded. I'll meet him later today an pick it up. Deliver Little Rock tomorrow an then load a coil in blytheville coming back.

Your old boss is pretty classy man. I can imagine that it almost pains you to leave such a high character person. It pains him to lose a quality driver for sure. Is the new boss running with ya for a bit to show you the ropes for cools securement and such?

He's gonna have his brother follow me and load two coils, 1 each in blytheville. That's where I'll learn to sink or swim I guess. I'm sure he'll help me out as much as possible. He doesn't need me to be a liability.

Ended up getting to coils. Hair over 20,000 each. And I did this entire day all by myself cuz the other guy wasn't going to be able to match up with meeting me there. This day is officially kicked my butt. I'm sure it'll get easier but I'm pretty proud of the fact that I got her done.

Some pics from my new adventure. Unloading some garage door materials at little rock. Going to go up to blytheville and get me a coil and head to Terrell Texas. Was home in my own bed last night I'll be in a motel tonight probably. The picture with the door open is me trying to get a picture of Jack up there to barking in between the seats.
