Platteville seems to have been slow as of late. I'm down in FL at to deliver in Orlando in the morning and reload out of Tampa for Baily.Friend and bryan21384 Thank this.

Thats unusual for them. Maybe production is slow over there. You coming to Foristell with that load? I'm on a break in London, OH with a load of milk as well. Got it in Columbia yesterday morning. Gotta be in Oreville, PA first thing tomorrow morning.Friend Thanks this.

Very nice runs, you've got Coke?Friend Thanks this.

Nope. Egg rolls from Baily to Orlando and fortune cookies for Baily from Tampa.Friend Thanks this.

Refresh my memory please. Going to the Coke in Atlanta. Can I park at the warehouse across the street? I'm waiting on one of our drivers to trade with me and he's stuck in Crashville traffic. I'm not gonna get down there until around midnight. The only other place that may have a spot is that Petro and that's not even guaranteed at that hour.
Friend and bryan21384 Thank this. -
You might can crash at that warehouse across the street, though the last time i went there, they put up some fencing to make maneuverability difficult. The Petro will definitely be full by then. If it comes down to it, head to the QT on Fulton Industrial Road in Atlanta. It's south if I-20.
From 285, take the Petro exit, but turn right, away from the Petro. I think its the 1st light afterwards, hang a left...that's Fulton Industrial Rd. Go under 20, QT is about 3 miles from that point. There are other warehouses off of side streets on the way there that you could probably hide out til delivery. The QT is maybe 10 miles away, or so. It'll be a lot of trucks so Creative Parking 101 will be of the essence lol....scope out the the scenery off of Fulton Industrial Rd....there's some hideouts that maybe you can use.
Talk about bad traffic, I'm on I-70 west in Indiana, and the highway is shut down totally. Sat in traffic for 2 hrs, so I'm parked at the weigh station. I said #### it and gave up. I'll get to Edwardsville in the morning.Peace_Maker and Lonesome Thank this. -
I took a quick glance at the area where you're going to. Id still park at that warehouse across the street....hopefully there isn't a bunch trucks there already, then you can turn around in one of those fenced in warehouses. Between that Coke and that Costco there, those are dicey deliveries if you can't get to Atlanta early.Peace_Maker Thanks this.

I appreciate your looking out as always.
So here's what happened. I didn't make it down here until after midnight. Petro was overflowing with trucks circling to find spots so I left. The warehouses down here are fenced off. There are plenty of no parking signs on the road and driveways down here to include a police department security camera at one of the warehouses. That kinda says don't park here all by itself. I drove around the area and couldn't find one feasible spot. I had to get off my clock to get a split sleeper in so I parked on the street down away from Costco with another 2 trucks. I knew that was a gamble but there aren't any no parking signs there. Cops came through at 0400 lights and sirens kicking us out. Ended up at QT 12 mi north. No parking at all. Not even creative. I sat in the fuel island until a spot opened up after 5. Made it back here for delivery on PC. No split or shift reset until 1100. Talking to the lady at the gate and found out why the neighborhood is touchy about us parking here now. Apparently a driver killed another at that warehouse across the street. They were also having trouble with loads being broken into.Knucklehead, Friend, Lonesome and 4 others Thank this.
