I have a Eaton Fuller 10 speed transmission. Lately, especially in high range, my engine will suddenly rev up. Almost as if the wheels are breaking loose and spinning although I know they aren't on dry pavement loaded. I was getting quite worried, thinking my tranny was going out, but got to thinking possibly my clutch needs adjustment or replaced.
Does this sound like a clutch problem? If so, how do I know which way to adjust it? It has an "adjusting arm" that i've replaced but I just put it back the same length as the old one. Any ideas?? If it's tranny it may go on Auction Time lol.
Clutch slipping?
