I got unloaded yesterday morning and deadheaded to Hobart, IN for what I thought was a preloaded trailer, but it wasn't ready. They told me it was scheduled for midnight and I had been up since 4am so I decided to drop my empty and go back the next morning. When I checked back in this morning it was ready so I headed out for Elkton, FL. 92 empty miles and 1077 loaded.

How do you schedule your days? Do you mostly run 10-11 driving and recap off what’s left? Have you ever reset?

I've never had to do a 34 to get hours back since I've been at Holland. I've had to sit for roughly 34 hours but it was only for loads that I couldn't pick up or deliver early. I usually try to run 500-550 miles a day when I have days where I'm purely just driving but on days where I have pickups and/or deliveries I typically don't drive out my clock because I don't want to mess up my recaps too much. However I do make exceptions when I have extra hours and the load requires it. I've had some runs that definitely require me to run 600+ miles a day and I don't prefer it but I don't really have a choice as a company driver I guess.

TV and refrigerator yes. Microwave no, you'll need your own.
