I drove for this company. Everything here is my firsthand experience. This company is extremely aggressive and manipulative. Here’s the ugly truth about how they treat drivers — not the ######## in their ads.

What it’s really like working at Colibrex Inc:

• They are highly aggressive and manipulative — they use constant pressure and dirty tactics to control you. Dispatch operates out of Uzbekistan (another country), while the company yard is in Elgin, Illinois — hidden in a ####hole construction zone up in the hills like ####roaches.
• Dispatch uses Telegram and deletes messages like cowards so there’s no evidence. They constantly switch accounts and use fake names. You never know who the hell you’re actually talking to.
• They illegally tamper with your ELD without permission. They remotely change your status while you’re driving or resting. They deliberately wake up your ELD iPad in the middle of the night to force you to drive.
• They don’t let you sleep at all. Constant Telegram calls during your rest time. If you don’t answer, they harass you relentlessly until you do.
• You can’t even shower. I went a full week without a shower because every time I stopped, these ######## called screaming “why did you stop?” They treat you worse than an animal.
• You can’t even use the bathroom without asking permission like a prisoner. You have to report to dispatch. If you stop to eat, they call #####ing at you. You end up eating like an idiot while driving.
• They talk to you with constant insults, yelling, and disrespect. They treat you like a cheap slave, not a professional driver.
• They never give you the full rate confirmation — just a cut-off address like rats. You can’t verify the real pay or the actual broker. Pure lies and pay manipulation.
• They aggressively pressure you to drive in ice, snow, extreme fatigue, or with broken equipment. Your safety means nothing to them. Only the load matters.
• THEY USE OTHER DRIVERS’ LICENSES — THIS IS SERIOUS FEDERAL CDL FRAUD. They list you as a “team” with a ghost driver who is NEVER in the truck. They use another driver’s license to lie to brokers. When the broker calls, they force you to fake two different voices like a circus clown. This is falsification of records (49 CFR 390.35) and broker fraud. YOUR CDL is the one at risk. If they get caught, you lose everything.
• They straight-up steal from you at the end. They kept my escrow, didn’t pay my last TWO weeks, and blamed me for all damages with zero proof. That’s their business model: squeeze you dry and then screw you over.

Other important details:

• Negative driver comments regularly disappear from the internet. They likely manipulate or delete reviews to hide their dirty operations.
• This company is barely mentioned anywhere on maps or review sites — very suspicious.

Publicly verifiable data: Colibrex’s CSA “Unsafe Driving” score is in the 70th percentile — worse than 70% of carriers. Check it yourself at safer.fmcsa.dot.gov with DOT 3864376.

My advice to other drivers:

1. DO NOT sign with these ########. If you’re already there, get the hell out before they risk your CDL or steal your money.
2. NEVER fake being another driver on broker calls. That’s federal fraud and you are the one who loses your license.
3. If they use Telegram, demand everything in email and save proof on your personal phone from day one.
4. You have the federal right to stop when you’re tired or conditions are dangerous. Don’t let them bully you.
5. You’re entitled to your full 10 hours of uninterrupted rest.
6. Demand the complete rate confirmation — cutting it is illegal.
7. Your escrow must be returned with full itemized accounting in 45 days.
8. They must pay you weekly. Holding final pay is wage theft.
9. File a complaint at nccdb.fmcsa.dot.gov and leave a permanent federal record.

If another driver went through this same #### at Colibrex, speak up. The more voices, the faster they get investigated.

Your CDL is worth way more than this company. Your health, dignity, and money belong to you. No load is worth losing everything to these aggressive manipulators.

Cómo es trabajar en Colibrex Inc (la pesadilla real):

• Son unos manipuladores agresivos que te controlan con presión constante y tácticas sucias. Dispatch opera desde Uzbekistán (otro país), mientras el yard de la compañía está en Elgin, Illinois, escondido en un lugar de mierda en zona de construcción sobre las colinas, ocultos como cucarachas.
• Dispatch usa Telegram y borra los mensajes como cobardes para no dejar evidencia. Cambian de cuenta todo el tiempo, usan nombres falsos. Nunca sabes con quién carajos estás hablando.
• Manipulan tu ELD ilegalmente sin permiso, cambian tu estatus remotamente mientras manejas o descansas. ¡Te despiertan el iPad en plena noche a propósito para obligarte a manejar como esclavo!
• No te dejan dormir ni un carajo. Llamadas constantes por Telegram en tu tiempo de descanso. Si no contestas, te hostigan como perros hasta que respondes.
• No te dejan bañarte. Pasé una semana completa sin ducharme porque cada vez que paraba, estos desgraciados llamaban gritando “¿por qué te detuviste?” Te tratan peor que a un animal.
• Ni al baño puedes ir sin pedir permiso como un preso. Tienes que avisarles. Si paras a comer, te llaman reclamando. Terminas comiendo como idiota mientras manejas.
• Te hablan con groserías, insultos y gritos constantes. Pura falta de respeto. Te tratan como esclavo barato, no como chofer profesional.
• Nunca te dan el rate confirmation completo. Solo te mandan la dirección recortada como ratas. No puedes verificar el pago real ni el broker. Pura mentira y manipulación con tu dinero.
• Te presionan como locos para que manejes en hielo, nieve, cansado o con equipo defectuoso. Tu vida les vale mierda. Solo les importa la carga.
• USAN LICENCIAS DE OTROS CHOFERES — ESTO ES FRAUDE FEDERAL GRAVE. Te ponen como “team” con un chofer fantasma que NUNCA está en el camión. Usan la licencia de otro para engañar a los brokers. Cuando llaman, te obligan a fingir dos voces como payaso de circo. Esto es falsificación de documentos (49 CFR 390.35) y fraude. Tu CDL es el que está en peligro, no el de ellos. Si te pescan, tú pierdes todo.
• Al final te roban descaradamente. Me retuvieron mis de escrow, no me pagaron las últimas DOS semanas, y me echaron la culpa de todos los daños sin una sola prueba. Ese es su maldito modelo: te exprimen y luego te dejan sin nada.

Otros detalles importantes:

• Los comentarios negativos de choferes desaparecen regularmente de internet. Probablemente borran o manipulan reseñas para ocultar su mierda.
• Esta compañía casi no aparece en mapas ni sitios de reseñas, lo cual es altamente sospechoso.

Mis consejos a otros choferes:

1. NO firmes con estos desgraciados. Si ya estás adentro, sal corriendo antes de que te jodan el CDL o te roben el dinero.
2. NUNCA finjas ser otro chofer por teléfono. Eso es fraude federal y tú eres el que pierde la licencia.
3. Si usan Telegram, exige todo por email y guarda evidencia en tu teléfono personal desde el primer día.
4. Tienes derecho a parar cuando estás cansado o las condiciones son peligrosas. No les hagas caso.
5. Tienes derecho a tus 10 horas de descanso sin que te jodan.
6. Exige el rate confirmation completo — recortarlo es ilegal.
7. Tu escrow debe devolverse con cuentas claras en 45 días.
8. Deben pagarte cada semana. Retenerte el pago final es robo de salario.
9. Reporta todo en nccdb.fmcsa.dot.gov. Deja huella federal permanente.

Si otro chofer pasó por esta mierda en Colibrex, habla. Cuantas más voces, más rápido caen.

Tu CDL vale mil veces más que esta compañía. Tu salud, tu dignidad y tu dinero son tuyos. No vale la pena perderlo todo por estos manipuladores.

I got here the same way as everyone else — through a friend’s invitation.

At first, everything seemed completely normal. They check you out, paint beautiful pictures, and tell you sweet fairy tales. They deceive you with big promises: “We’ll support you… We genuinely care… We have a strong team… There will be no problems…”

But the ugly truth? That part they cleverly hide until later.

It starts slow: “just do this,” “try that,” one small request here, another there. Little by little, you start noticing how everything is turning into complete ####.

That’s called deception. Plain and simple.

The moment I felt the temperature rising, I quit. Life’s too short for that level of toxicity. It really does take time to spot a scumbag… but once you see it, you don’t stay.
