I read today, CDOT has banned the use of hand held devices while driving. Hands free and Bluetooth are up to the officer. Colorado joins 29 others that have done so, with Michigan reporting a 12.8% decrease in distracted driving. NO FRAKIN' KIDDING, Sherman. I knew that 30 years ago, oh the wheels of justice operate in low range,,,

Sorry, HAND held, no way to correct banner headline,,

Took them long enough. Massachusetts started banning them in 2010.
201 Thanks this. -
I'm stupid I guess, I just assumed that was law everywhere.

Some states..I know NC is one, the use of a handheld infraction can only be a secondary reason for a stop. You cant be stopped because you were holding your phone for whatever reason.
201 and Suspect Zero Thank this. -
Screwing around on your phone while driving should be equal to a DUI. I have had more close calls with those ####### than drunk drivers. You can spot a drunk driver and adjust. Dick heads on their phone can suddenly be all over the place.
201 Thanks this.
