Hey yall. We just moved to Wyoming so I've been looking for a gig here. I haven't been in a truck for about 2 years and only drove for 2 years before that. I'm wondering if it will be difficult for me to find a company here that will work with me because of the gap in work history. and if so what companies may be a good fit.

I was checking out some postings on google jobs but all the requirements make it seem like I wouldn't qualify. When I started with Schneider I didn't pay attention to qualifications since they hire anybody. Hope this isn't wasting anyone's time. Thanks!

Near as I can tell everybody and their brother is hiring just find the company you think you might want to work for and inquire. You may be required to take some additional training since it's been 2 years

Where are you located in Wyoming?
I know several companies that will hire you, probably a dozen or more, even with that long gap in driving.
    Do you have endorsements?

Northern Plains Trucking won't work then. Too far away.

Do you want local or OTR or whatever you can get?

Have to renew hazmat anyway when you move to a different state.

I prefer dedicated or OTR routes. Trying to stay on the road as much as I can.
