Ive stumbled across two other companies baldwin transfer and gulf intermodal. Anyone know anything about them
-
Gulf Relay in Clinton.
-
I saw them as well i just cant find any information on them. They seem to be newer. I also found out robert bearden inc has a terminal here as well
-
How much experience do you have and what type trucking, home time are you looking for?
-
Honestly i have no experience just getting ready to start training. I don't really care much about hometime
-
US Express has a terminal in Meridian, I believe the company is called Trans Power that is a division of them. Also there is Vernon Milling that used to take students in Alabama. Not sure if Ashley Distribution still hires students but I started with them and they paid well out of Pontotoc. You also aren't too far from McElroy Flatbed just across the state line in Cuba who hired students, may still. Once you get a year, your options will open up. You can pm me if you have any questions.
-
Ok so Ashley distribution, I know about mcelroy but would rather avoid flatbed at first. Vernon milling seems like a log company am i mistaken
-
Vernon Milling, aka VMC hauls dry bulk in those tanks. Pneumatic or bottom drop, in Vernon Alabam just up from Columbus on18.

I'm thinking I'll go through kllm for my cdl. Just trying to find other backup plans if i don't like kllm for whatever reason. So far watkins seems to be my best option unless a few other companies pan out
