If they're willing to take you, you better grab that job. It's a bit of a weak market for drivers who are new or have had hiccups in the industry. If you drive teams for a while, and get past all the SAP stuff, and keep your record clean for 3 years after the failed drug screen, you'll have a lot more options.

 

I would definitely take it, if offered a position. But she asked me to bring my own team driver with me. She didn’t state that they would team me up with someone. I’m doing every thing I can to get back on the road. I don’t care who it’s with to begin with. I get SAP behind me, I’ll live in the truck stay home forever, whatever. Bc I know once I get some ground under me, I can shape which direction I want my career to go in.

Yea maybe. I had a dump truck position reach out to me as well as a box truck position. Can either one of those start my SAP? Even offering to reimburse or upfront pay for it?
