I have recently given up my authority after 15 years because of the decrease in freight and income. I have leased on to 3 different companies who said their O/O checks were between $4000 and $6000 weekly. None of them came any where near that amount. I spent more time waiting for loads than running. Are there any companies who have the freight do the O/O can make decent money?

I know right! I wanna do mega carrier things and be an o/o! I can compete with a marketing, brokerage, new accounts, huge purchasing power, lawyers, hr, and a big team sitting on a long table! Lol! Yea, ok!!
Got to have some kind of trick up your sleeve. Be nimble, efficient, dynamic,… what do I know! Lol.

I run and operate a small trucking company with the misses. What always happens when an OO signs on.. they make some big checks and are really happy. After a couple of months they start being picky. No load under 1,000 miles. Nothing over 30k lbs. No New England, no Chicago, no CA. Then they complain about small checks. After awhile the whole cycle repeats.

The green would clash with my truck. And I’m also lazy and like to take time off. And I’d need to stretch my truck out to get that motor farther away from my head when I sleep.
