How's about a fleet with autos, but none of that bubble-wrap safety crap like lane departure buzzers, "safety" braking for no reason, cameras, etc., etc., etc.?? Probably impossible to find.
Companies that still have manual transmission vehicles

I started out with CR England. Stayed there 2 months after training and then spent the next 4 years at US Xpress.
i had less than 4 months in a manual followed by 4 years in an auto shift. I had zero problems driving a stick again when i quit. Sure i scratched a few gears, but come on people it ain’t that hard.kemosabi49 Thanks this. -

Trucks run 75mph + , no lane change buzzer , collision avoidance radar, cameras , the transmissions are unlocked so you get manual mode ,performance mode and eco mode . No stupid fuel economy tune , or weird transmission shift points .You can do manual regens , non apu trucks idle as long as you want .. Very user friendly Zonar ELD tablet
They use Freightliners with dd15/dt12 and Volvos with D13/i-shift .
There are lots of these types of companies in the central valley area CaliforniaLast edited: Sep 9, 2020
