I’m in the stages of researching and gathering as much info as I can before investing money into starting a trucking biz. I have 40k to use to start the biz and so far have a trusted relative who has been driving, who can be a driver for me. However, I’ve been calling around to get lease quotes for trucks but so far several say I need 1 year operation in biz first, in addition to liquidable assets requirements which isn’t a problem.
Does anyone know of trusted companies who lease to new trucking companies. I’ve recently established my biz credit, have a great personal credit and the capital but lack the actual experience of operation. Also, where do you recommend I start educating myself on deciding on which trucks best suit my business? Lastly, should I find a trucking company to shadow for the dispatching aspect of the business for experience? Any good pointers? Please be kind, I’m new

This guy just bought his own truck through his credit union. Don't know much about him or his small business skill set. He has his own YouTube channel.
